There, on the horizon.  Lo, the dark monolith stands as a looming harbinger of death and destruction.  Heat waves distort the sun’s gaze which peeks over the height of its plateau.  No lights emanate from its frame, as its only means of intimidation comes from its still and silent magnificent size.  Its innards are being assembled as we speak, and by month’s end, I shall have its power at my fingertips.  Such…power…
